Firm Overview and About Our Staff.
CAF Pension Actuaries was founded in March 2001 to provide a high level of actuarial and administrative services at competitive prices. We have discovered that many midsized plans are not receiving the attention they deserve and are overpaying for the services they receive. Employing only experienced, motivated and service oriented actuaries and benefit consultants, we are sensitive to the needs and special circumstances of each of our clients. We respond to each of our clients' requests in a very timely manner. In addition to handling all aspects of the annual valuation, accounting, government reporting requirements and the day-to-day administrative tasks for benefit plans, we are also experienced in Supplemental Executive Retirement Plans, overall Retirement Program design, and retirement income replacement studies.
Our Staff
Joseph E. Casey, Jr., E.A., M.A.A.A. is the president of CAF Pension Actuaries, Inc. He is an enrolled actuary under ERISA and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He has over 30 years of experience working with tax qualified and non-qualified Pension Plans for small, medium and large companies. Prior to founding CAF Pension Actuaries, Inc., Joe served as an actuary and consultant with other major actuarial consulting firms in the Boston area. He is responsible for the accuracy of the annual valuations, government filings, benefit calculations, and financial disclosures. He is also experienced in a wide variety of plan design and retirement income replacement studies. He earned his B.A. degree in mathematics from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

Carolyn Comiskey has over 20 years of experience working in the defined contribution plan industry. She has been responsible for full service administration and consulting for a variety of plans; 401(k), profit sharing, and employee stock ownership. Carolyn has worked with a full range of companies; large retail companies, small privately held companies, and banks. She has earned a B.S. degree in economics and finance and an A.S. degree in accountancy from Bentley College in Waltham, MA.

Kimberly Cleverdon has over 20 years of experience in the consulting, administration and recordkeeping of defined contribution plans. Kim has practical experience with all aspects of the valuation process. She currently specializes in employee stock ownership, deferred compensation and profit sharing plans. She earned her B.S. degree in business administration from Nichols College in Dudley, MA.
